
Desmond’s senior men’s team play their round four game of the Kerry Co.League this evening, Saturday, June 4th away to John Mitchel’s of Tralee at 7pm.

The team launched their new Divanes Castleisland sponsored jerseys last week. Divanes have become official partners with Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club senior team.
The club wishes to thank the media, players and club officers who attended the launch at Divanes.
Strictly Come Dancing
The Muire Gan Smál / Desmonds Ladies Strictly Come Dancing finale will take place on Friday, June 10th in the Castleisland Community Centre.
There are some tickets left for the big event and they can be purchased for €20 from: Muire Gan Small Presentation Convent or Lynch’s Pharmacy, Lower Main Street.
Thirteen couples are taking part and full bar facilities will operate on the night.
Brawl in the Hall
The senior men’s side of the Desmond club are holding a white collar boxing event on Friday, July 8th.

The tickets at €20 have been launched and can be purchased from: Lynch’s Pharmacy; Vincent Murphy’s Sports Shop; Tom Mc Carthy’s Bar; Tommy Hickey’s Music Shop; Brennans Barbers, Upper Main St. or Walsh Colour Print Tralee Road. There will be 14 ‘Fights’ and a live band and full bar facilities.
Congratulations to Gemma
Congratulations to Gemma Kearney who was on the Kerry winning U-14 team that defeated Tipperary in the Munster final last Saturday in Mallow.
Desmonds U-14 Girls
Desmonds U-14 girls had a very impressive win in their preparation for Feile 2016 where they defeated Ballymac by 4:11 to 1:02 in the County League. Well done to all players and mentors on this great victory.
Desmonds U-12
Desmonds U-12 team played round two of the Kerry Co.League on Sunday night at home were they defeated Asdee / Ballylongford by 5:19 to 4:12.
