Graduation Celebrations at Bright Beginnings

Pre-school staff, Susan O’Mahony, Marguerite Egan and Catherine Horan are delighted with the feedback received from parents following this year’s graduation and they feel that such an event is wonderful for the children’s confidence.

The focus of Bright Beginnings is to provide a child centered affordable, quality and early intervention preschool in a small local group setting.

The pre-school opened in 2009 and just four students attended during the first term.

Bright Beginnings aims to enhance the overall development of young children and to support them in developing their language/social and personal skills – which facilitates an easier transition to primary school.

The pre-school is located at Castleisland Family Resource Centre. The centre runs courses for adults from September to May each year and also runs camps for children during mid-term and school breaks.

Summer camps for children with additional needs will take place on the weeks commencing July 4th and 11th.

MABS, the money advice and budgeting service, attend the centre each Thursday and Jigsaw Kerry, the youth mental health group for 12 to 25 year olds are available on Wednesdays.

Appointments for both of these organizations must be made directly with the organization but the resource centre can be contacted on 087 75 53 066 for any other enquiries.
