There will be a distinctly Kerry flavour to the RTÉ Radio One traditional music programme, The Rolling Wave over the next couple of Sunday nights from 9pm.
A chat with piper /presenter, Peter Browne early on Monday morning revealed that the World Fiddle Day recordings which he conducted on May 21st in Scartaglin will be played on the programme on the Sunday nights of July 24th and 31st.
Great Music Played
“There was some great music played there on that occasion. Maybe with the exception of one particular recording, during which the mic got an accidental kick, everything else will be included,” said Mr. Browne.
These ‘Rolling Wave’ programmes will also be taking a look back at the recent Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy in Miltown Malbay.
