Active ICA Fundraiser

As an active member of the Irish Countrywomen’s Association, Mary Hickey did her share of fundraising for the Irish Cancer Society during the annual Daffodil Day campaigns on the streets of the town over many years.

She was an equally vibrant member of the Castleisland Active Retirement group which met regularly at St. Bridget’s Hall.

They are faithful, regular and banner wielding paraders on St. Patrick Day.

Mary and her friends there created and rehearsed a nativity play only a few short years ago and performed it locally and on the stage of Siamsa Tire in Tralee. May God be good to her.
