Weather Warning: Code Level Orange for Kerry

Met Éireann has issued the following Weather Warning this morning: Weather Warning: Code Level Orange for Kerry.

Update on previous warning. After the torrential rain of the last 36 hours, further heavy rain is expected for a time today, leading to some further flooding. Further totals of 30 to 40mm are likely, with the highest values expected in coastal and mountainous areas.

(Valid from 08:00 Tuesday 4-October-2016 until 15:00 Tuesday 4-October-2016)

 ROAD CLOSURE: Further to the earlier update, the road between Portmagee and Ballinskelligs near Coomanaspig has been closed following a landslide. Motorists should avoid the area.
