Shauna Brosnan and a gang of 23 of her friends left Tom McCarthy’s Central Bar at mid-day today fully intent of having a great day and night out in Limerick.
There is a solid day of celebration ahead of Shauna and her friends until the early hours of Sunday morning.
The plan is that they will all return safe and well as can be expected to Tom’s tomorrow to put the tin hat on the celebrations.
Shauna and another Castleisland native, Alan O’Connor are due to get married on January 21st 2017 in the Church of Saints Stephen and John and they will hold their reception in the Ballygarry House Hotel.
Here, the old ‘going to a wedding is the makings of another’ theory is proven again as Shauna and Alan met at a wedding in 2013 – but they knew each other for many years.
And, in 2015 their little boy Alex arrived.
In December 2015 Alan surprised Shauna in the Hotel Europe and asked her to marry him.
Shauna is off to Limerick with 23 of her close friends and family for her Hen weekend and that is sure to be filled with a lot crack,fun, and laughter.
And they’re all looking forward to the big day in January 2017.
