I never had a chance to shine,
Never a happy song to sing.
But suddenly half the world is mine,
What an amazing thing,

‘Cause I’ve got a Golden Ticket.

From the evergreen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Lynch’s Pharmacy, Lower Main Street, here in Castleisland took a walk on the ‘Wilder’ side yesterday and introduced a very seasonal Golden Ticket Hamper, day-long draw.

There were beauty tips from experts, mulled wine and nibbles on the go all day long – with discounts on selected items with management and staff in seasonal costume.

Rachel Walsh-Delaney

The pleasure of uttering the immortal line: “I’ve got a Golden Ticket” fell to local woman, Rachel Walsh-Delaney who won the Golden Ticket Hamper and to Noreen Murphy of Tralee Road who won the Caudalie draw.

“Thanks to everyone who made today such fun and so special and to all the staff who worked so hard.

“Congratulations to Rachel Walsh-Delaney and Noreen Murphy on their wins and we wish them and all our customers a Very Happy Christmas,” said proprietor, Aileen Lynch.
