Currow Shocked Again With Latest Tragic Accident

Currow has been hit yet again with another farm accident involving the tragic loss of a man’s life.

Officials from the Health and Safety Authority and Gardaí are investigating the accident which involved the man falling from the roof of a farm building just before noon today.

The accident happened in the Lisheenbawn area and it is another in the remarkable list of tragedies to hit the area in recent years.

In his 30s, and a former footballer with the local GAA club, the man was removed by ambulance to University Hospital Kerry and was pronounced dead on arrival there.
