Schools Combine for Talent Show 2017 at St. John’s Hall

St. Patrick’s Boys’ Secondary School and Presentation Girls’ Secondary School here in Castleisland have joined forces to present Talent Show 2017.

This is a showcase of talent, an evening of music, song, dance and comedy from the students of both schools.

Many of the students involved have been performing in public in recent times.

No Strangers to the Stage

They have been on stage at the Castleisland Chamber Alliance Christmas Street Party and were similarly positioned at the Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town Expo at the local community centre.

Talent Show 2017 will be staged at St. John’s Hall on Thursday, January 26th. 2017. Curtain up is at 7:30pm.

Amazing Choir Day

Many of the ‘Pres Girls’ in the show have just gone through what has been described as ‘an amazing choir day experience’ with the famous Veronica McCarron from Presentation Secondary School, Kilkenny.

Ms. McCarron is well known for her recent success with her school in reaching the semi finals of the Britain’s Got Talent programme.

Ticket Prices

Tickets prices for the Castleisland Talent Show 2017 are: Adults €10, Students and OAP’s €5. Tickets are available from both schools and admission for all primary school pupils is free of charge.
