Castleisland Family Resource Centre will run a series of courses over the coming months. All aspects of child safety will be considered and covered in the run of this course.

Internet Safety: This module is an introduction to social media awareness and cyber bullying. What it is and what steps can be taken to prevent it.

How to become aware of what your child is doing online as well as establishing rules about how and when to use devices etc. Internet Safety covers how to stay safe online.

Introduction to Social Media, Facebook and Understanding Apps will also be covered. This course will run over three sessions and will commence on Tuesday February 21st. from 10am-12 noon.

Parents Plus – Sharing of Ideas and Experiences

This course is aimed at parents of children between the ages of five and 18 The course commences on Monday, February 7th. from 7pm to 9pm.

It is an ideal opportunity to meet with other parents and share experiences and ideas. Bookings: 087 75 53 066. All of the above courses will be facilitated by Kerry Education and Training Board.
