Milltown/Castlemaine GAA Club is having an Open Day/Members Registration Day for the families of all the young boys and girls from the Milltown / Castlemaine area from 12 noon to 3pm. on Sunday, February 5th. 2017 in the Nagle Rice Community Centre. The event will cater for ages five and upwards.

During this time children will be able to participate in some fun football activities and meet with some of our coaches involved within the club over the coming year.
The club caters for both boys and girls from under six to 12’s and boys only thereafter from U-14 to senior men.
There is also a Ladies’ Gaelic football club, Milltown / Listry in the community.
Getting to Know You
This open day will be an ideal opportunity for new families or individuals who have joined our community to get to know each other in a fun and relaxed environment. Light refreshments will be served for children and adults throughout the day.
There will be a special draw for a club pullover, training top, a club training T-Shirt and six leather footballs for all those who pay their membership on the day.

Club Registration Fees Due
Club registration is now due. Under six boys and girls are free. Juvenile/student and OAP are €30. An adult fee is €50, couples are €80 and family membership is €100.
Membership must be paid before March 31st 2017.
All officers, players and mentors need to be registered for insurance purposes with Croke Park. Our registrar Josephine Twiss does tremendous work each year and we are very grateful to her.
Fantastic Rates
As you will agree, these are fantastic rates. For the juvenile/student/OAP – it works out at 58 cent per week, while a family membership, up to two adults and four children, works out at just under €2 per week.
And don’t forget that membership entitles you entry to all our home, Co. League games – worth €30 – on production of your membership card. Membership also entitles the holder entry to the Munster Final ticket draw and to that all important All Ireland ticket draw in September! Membership also entitles all those aged 18 and over to vote at the AGM. Certainly great value for money!
Fundraising Lotto Jackpot Draw
Our next Lotto draw for €12,800 will be on Friday, January 27th. in Killorglin Golf Club.
Lotto tickets are currently on sale. Just €2 a ticket or three for €5. So head off and purchase your lotto tickets which are available from usual sellers and at various outlets in Milltown, Castlemaine and Ballyfinnane. There are also many consolation prizes on offer.
