AIB Castleisland recently hosted a banking information session for officers of the Kerry Macra na Feirme clubs throughout the area.
Presentations and workshops on the night were delivered on areas including: Convenience Banking; Lending to the Agri Sector; Account Opening; Applying for a Home Loan and Financial Planning. “Many queries and questions were raised on the night including the criteria for applying for a home loan and the implications of having no security available when applying for a farm loan,” said Donal Whelton, AIB Regional Agri-advisor.
The demonstration on AIB’s online offering was very well received. Hosting the event in the Castleisland office, Manager, Ger O’Connor said that the branch was delighted to welcome Kerry Macra Na Feirme members and he hoped that all the officers present found the evening of benefit.
