Junk Kouture by Bank of Ireland is the label behind Ireland’s leading fashion and art competition for second level students.

Every outfit is unique and the rules are that entries must be: original, creative and recycled and each one made from 100% recycled materials.

Nationwide Competition

The nationwide competition aims to spark students’ imaginations; encouraging them to create unique, original and innovative outfits from recycled materials and junk.

Thousands of pieces have been submitted by talented teenagers over the past six years, with some spectacular and awe-inspiring pieces gracing the competition’s regional and national catwalks.

Opportunity to Develop
Bank of Ireland is proud to have been involved with Junk Kouture since 2012 as it provides young people with a unique opportunity to develop new design techniques, styles, and hone their craft in creating one off designs from recycled material.

It also provides them with the chance to meet others with similar goals and creates a positive synergy; infusing all with creative energy. Good luck to the ‘Pres Teams’ in the competition.
