The real story of drama in Scart over the past couple of weeks was the pressure to put on extra nights as the local group’s adaptation of Sharon’s Grave drew housefuls from all quarters.

Not for the first time did the work of the late John B.Keane and an able drama group pack a hall in rural Ireland.

Yet Another Night

This one necessitated extra shows to sate demand. And yet another night, Friday, March 3rd has been chalked down as the final one.

“We have had a great run and a fantastic reaction to the play. Sunday night was our eighth performance after two extra shows.

Full Houses

“We still have so many on the list that unfortunately never got to see it due to the full houses throughout.

“We’re doing one more night on Friday, March 3rd. Curtain up at 8pm Sharp and bookings on: 087 24 34 000,” said group and cast member, Moira Hughes.
