Code Orange Warning for Sunday in Kerry

Kerry County Council is advising motorists and members of the public to take care and precautions tomorrow, Sunday, from 6am to 3pm in particular, following the issuing of a Code Orange warning for wind for Kerry during this period (see below).

Home and business owners should take precautions in relation to vulnerable property and motorists, cyclists and pedestrians should watch out for fallen and flying debris on roads.

Kerry County Council is monitoring the situation and will provide updates on media and social media.

Weather Warning: Code Level Orange

Southerly winds veering southwesterly will reach gust speeds of 110km/h to 120km/h at times from tomorrow morning to early afternoon along southern and southeastern coasts.

Valid from 06:00 Sunday 26-February-2017 until 15:00 Sunday 26-February-2017.
