Take Care on Roads as Risk of Flooding is Forecast

With the weather taking a dive for the worse in recent weeks, there are further threats of area flooding tonight and early tomorrow.

Care should be taken on the roads tonight and up to tomorrow evening especially with localised flooding in mind.
It is continuing wet this evening.

The rain will be heavy and thundery in places, with a risk of flooding, especially in the west. Winds will be moderate to fresh mainly north-easterly.

Tonight
Tonight there will be further rain, heavy at times, with the risk of flooding. Cold with lowest temperatures of 3 to 5 degrees in moderate to fresh northerly winds.

Tomorrow
Tomorrow, Saturday will be cold and breezy with rain, heavy at times. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees.

In the south-west the rain will ease during the afternoon , with some bright spells developing in the late-afternoon or evening. Winds will be moderate to fresh, locally strong and gusty north-westerly.
