Bride to be Katie Brosnan was the focus of the loving attention of her circle of friends at Tom McCarthy’s Central Bar this morning.
The gathering of immediate family and very close friends had a mission in mind and there was nothing impossible about it. There was a window of opportunity for photographs, booked weeks ago and given its due time and without bother or fuss.
Overnight Bags and High Spirits
The last frame exposed and the ‘team bus’ pulled up outside Camp Katie. Overnight bags and high spirits loaded onto the buss in a rare burst of late morning sunshine and away they went – to Cork.
Katie was in on the ‘secret’ and she’s in good hands. She, and her local sweetheart, Denis O’Connor started going out in 2001.
They got engaged on August 15th 2015 while they were on holidays in Fungeroila in Spain.
One of Katie’s friends, Ailís McGillicuddy provided a background piece to the excitement of the morning:
Katie, Denis and Ryan
Once upon a time a girl and a boy, Katie and Denis fell for each other. Two love birds forever united by their beautiful boy Ryan, will tie the knot in their upcoming wedding.
Katie Brosnan, Denis’s 16 year long sweetheart is surrounded by the tightest network of friends and family.
They’re wishing her the best and hoping to give her the hen weekend to remember.
It marks the beginning of an exciting chapter in their long standing relationship. Their love story continues…
Wishing you all the luck and love in the world from all your girls and family. – Ailís and friends.
