Cordal GAA Club Sympathies
Cordal GAA Club would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family of one of our longest serving members who sadly passed away last week.

Michael O’Connor, better known as Mick Parick, of Mount, Scartaglen. Mick had been a long time member and supporter of our club.

He was a former player, chairman and was a current vice president of the club. He also served as a selector and many other roles down through the years.

A minute’s silence was observed to mark his passing at Sunday’s Cordal/Scart minor game in Cordal.

Sincerest sympathies to all his family and friends on his passing. May he Rest in Peace.

March Lotto Worth €2,200

In Round 2 of the Division 2 County League Cordal/Scart exited the game with a goal lead at 3-06 to Rathmore’s 2-06.

Fixtures
Cordal V Churchill – Cordal Seniors play Churchill in Round 1 of the Senior County League. This game will take place on Sunday at 2pm in Churchill GAA grounds.

Cordal V Tuosist – Cordal Seniors play Tuosist in Round 2 of the Senior County League.
This game will take place on Sunday the 19th of March at 2pm.

Cordal/Scart V Kerins O’Rahillys – Cordal/Scart play Kerins O’Rahillys this Saturday at 4pm in Cordal. This game is Round 3 of the Division 2 Minor County League.

Membership Due Now
Cordal GAA Club Membership is still due for 2017 by some of our members. Regular adult membership is €30, Senior player membership is €50, Student membership is €35.

We urge you to pay your membership soon to one of our club officers as membership dues for this year will be closing shortly.

Cordal Clothes Collection
Cordal GAA appeal to you to donate your clean clothes, pairs of shoes, belts, handbags, curtains and bedlinen. No duvets or pillows please. This is a continuous collection by our Club and all funds raised will help to improve the Club’s facilities and contribute to the Club’s running costs. Donations can be dropped off at Jackie Reidy’s Menswear, Main St. Castleisland or at the Cordal Community Centre. Thanks to everyone helping this collection to be a continuing success.
