The men’s senior team travel to play Austin Stack’s in round 3 of the Kerry County league this coming Saturday April 9th at 6pm.

This is a vital game for us this weekend having, unfortunately, lost at home to Glenbeigh-Glencar in round two of the league.

U-16 Boys Defeat John Mitchels

The U-16 boys team defeated John Mitchels in round 2 of the central region league last week. They play Ballymacelligott in round 4 away on Monday, March10th. Throw in at 7pm.

U-14 Team Defeat Gneeveguilla

The U-14 team defeated gneeveguilla in round 1 of the league they play Annascaul/Lispole on Wednesday April 5th in round 2. Throw in at 7pm.

Training for U-6, U-8 and U-10 Boys

Training for the U-6, U-8 and U-10 boys takes place this Friday evening, April 7th at 6:30pm in the field.

U-6 and U-8 Girls

The U-6 and U-8 girls have training on Monday nights for the next few weeks in the Castleisland Community Centre from 6pm to 7pm before they go to the Desmond’s pitch. €3 per week.

U-10 and U-12 Girls

The U-10 and U-12 girls have training on Monday nights from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the field.

The U-12 Girls played their first game of the 2017 and had very impressive victory over Listowel in the North Kerry league on Wednesday evening. Theywon on a score of 7-3 to 3-3.

U-16 Girls Draw with Inbhear Schéine

The U-16 girls team started their league campaign when they played on Thursday night against Infear Sceine Gaels and they drew the game on the score of 3-8 to 4-5 here in the Desmonds GAA Club pitch.

Congrats to Basketballers

Congratulations to all of the Desmonds boys and girls who were part of the successful Castleisland Community Games basketball teams that won the Munster finals in Limerick’s UL last weekend.
