Knock Lotto Knocks Twice For Lucky Kieran

Knock, Knock: Kieran’s Luck is in with two Lotto Wins

The lotto draw for a jackpot of €5900 was held on Saturday night last in Eddie Walsh’s Bar, Knocknagoshel. The numbers drawn were: 8, 11, 20 and 30. There was no winner of the jackpot.

On the same weekend as the opening of his new shop in the village, Kieran McAuliffe’s luck was in as he scooped two lucky dip prizes in the draw.

The five lucky dips of €30 each drawn went to: Kieran McAuliffe, Knocknagoshel; Margaret Curtin Meenleitrim; John O’Connell, Behenaugh; Kieran McAuliffe, Knocknagoshel and Charlie Curtin, Meenleitrim.

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €6,000 and will be held in Roche’s Bar on Saturday, May 6th. Tickets are available from The Family Shop, Leahy’s Post Office, the local bars and usual sellers. Thank you for your continued support.

Seniors’ Game on Saturday Evening in Ballyduff

With Kerry playing Dublin in the Allianz League Final on Sunday next Ballyduff v Knocknagoshel in the preliminary round of the Junior club championship moves to Saturday evening. Throw in is at 5.30pm in Ballyduff.

Great Start for U-12s

Knock/Brosna U-12 team got their season underway with a victory over Scartaglin in the county league on a score of 5-13 to 2-6.

Their next game is against Tarbert on Sunday evening.

High Scoring U-16 Encounter with Beale

Knock/Brosna/Duagh U-16s played Beale in the North Kerry League Division 1 on a score of 3-14 to 3-07.
