St. Mary’s Basketball Club will hold its annual church gate collection at all masses over this Easter weekend.
U-16 Girls off to Sunny Spain
Meanwhile, the club’s U-16 girls and coaches, Aoife Nolan and Conor Brosnan are bound for the Mediterranean coast of Spain to represent the club in a long running tournament there.

The St. Mary’s Basketball Club’s U-16 girls and their coaches Conor Brosnan and Aoife Nolan head to Spain this week for the 32nd Tomas Sola Trophy International Basketball Tournament in the Mediterranean costal town of Malgrat De Mar from 13th to 16th April 2017.
The trip would not have been possible but for the wonderful support of so many.

The team and coaches are very grateful to everyone who have supported them along the way.
Raffle tickets were sold at the Christmas blitz and donations were made while others supported the memory tree at Nana Beas.
The travelling party members are grateful to both Castleisland Community College and Muire Gan Smál along with: Browne’s Agri; Dairy Gold; Vincent Murphy Sports and their main sponsor Irish Drains who provided the team with two sets of gear.
Upcoming Fixtures
St. Mary’s will host the U-16 Boys’ B All-Ireland club championship on the weekend of April 22nd. and 23rd.
Please come along and support our own team who are coached by Michael ‘Trod’ Broderick.
Our U-16 girls ‘A Team’ will travel to Galway on the same weekend to contest the All-Ireland championship in their grade.
