Coiste na nÓg Quiz at Roche’s Bar

Knocknagoshel GAA Club is holding a fundraising quiz in support of Coiste na nÓg on this Friday night, April 28th at 9pm sharp in Roche’s Bar, Knocknagoshel.

Quizmaster supreme, Eddie Barrett will MC what is sure to be an enjoyable and entertaining night. Your support is greatly anticipated. There will be plenty of prizes up for grabs on the night.

Fixtures and Results

It was a disappointing weekend of results for both Knocknagoshel senior team and Knock/Brosna minors with both losing their respective matches.

Seniors Lose to Ballylongford 

Knocknagoshel Seniors went down to Ballylongford on Sunday in the county league. They will play Scartaglen on Sunday April 30th at 2.30p.m. in the quarter final of the Novice Championship. This match will be played at Willie Walsh Park, Knocknagoshel and we are looking forward to large support for this local derby.

Minors Lose to Beale

Knock/Brosna minors lost out to Beale in the semi final of the county minor league on Friday evening last. We wish Beale well in the final against Castlegregory.

U-16s Triumph over Ballydonoghue

Knock/Brosna/Duagh beat Ballydonoghue with a great scoring match and the final score was 5-15 to 4-08. Their next match will be on Monday, May 1st. playing Listowel in the North Kerry League having already qualified for the division 1 final.

U-14s Miss Out on Féile Semi-final

Knock/Brosna/Duagh played in the Feile Tournament on Wednesday, April 19th beating Churchill. But they lost to John Mitchels and therefore did not qualify for the semi final.

U-12s Lose in High Scorer

Knock/Brosna played a great match on Sunday last but lost out by one point. The final score was 4-13 to 5-09. Their next match will be on Sunday, May 7th at 6pm against Ballyheigue in Brosna.

 Lotto Jackpot of €6,000 at Roche’s Bar

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €6,000 and will be held in Roche’s Bar on Saturday, May 6th. Tickets are available from Kieran’s XL, Leahy’s Post Office, the local bars and the usual sellers. Thank you for your continued support.
