The roads of Munster and probably beyond will lead to Browne’s Open Day on this Wednesday, May 10th from 10:30am to 5pm.

Past masters at catering for huge gatherings of this nature, Browne’s Home, Agri and Builders’ Providers draw people from well beyond that which should be their natural or commercial boundaries.

Roll Call of Names

Their Christmas draws result is a roll-call of names and representations from all quarters of Kerry and many of its neighbouring counties.

Wednesday, May 10th is nearly as far from Christmas as you’ll get without going back.
Castleisland, its neighbours and their undulating, farming hinterland have been well served by Browne’s for generations.

Business as Usual

As far as catering to that vital sector of the community is concerned, it’s business as usual.

But, the range of household goods has moved apace with the changes in the lifestyles and domestic dwellings dotting the rural landscape of the Ireland of today.

You’re as likely to find the latest in kitchen crockery or cookery utensils as you are to putting your hand on a two, three or four pronged pike on the spacious ground or first floors of the store nowadays.

Grass Roots Operation

It’s a grass-roots operation at Browne’s and, signs on, the name and the business have survived the chilliest winds of the economic climate of recent years.

On a typical ‘Open Day’ at Browne’s, they have an expert or two lashing out the tips and tricks of their trades and professions. Tomorrow’s line up includes advisors in areas like: grass seeding; cattle and sheep dosing and power fencing – among many others.
There will be light refreshments available throughout the day. For further information Browne’s can be contacted on 066 71 41560.Contact-banner
