David Plays a Captain’s Part in Currow U-14 League Win

Currow U-14 captain, David Moriarty played his part with a top-scorer total of 2-3 to his name in their County League game against Renard recently.

On Wednesday Currow U-14s made the long journey to South Kerry to play Renard in the final round of the County League.

In a close game throughout, Currow proved too strong for Renard in the finish and won the game on a scoreline of Currow 5-20 to Renard’s 5-07.

Scorers for Currow were: David Moriarty 2-3; Darragh Kelly 1-4; Jack Moriarty 0-4; Justin McCarthy and Cathal Brosnan 1-0; Bryan Roche, John Ahern and Cathal Sheehan 0-2 each; Padraig Brosnan, Danny Crowley and Paddy Howard 0-1 each.

This result means Currow will have a home semi-final in the County League this coming Wednesday, May 17th vs Templenoe/Sneem/Derrynane in Currow at 7pm.

Knock/Brosna/Duagh Too Strong for Currow U-16s

U-16s: On Friday, May 12th. Currow contested the Castleisland District League U-16A Final in Castleisland where their opponents were Knock/Brosna/Duagh.

On the night the North Kerry outfit proved too strong for our boys and went on to win the contest on a scoreline of Knock/Brosna/Duagh 2-15 to Currow’s 3-4.

Next for Currow will be the U-16 County League in July.

Go Games for Currow U-8 and U-10 Teams

U-8s: Our U-8 team will participate in the District GAA Go Games next week in Ballymac beginning at 7pm. Check with officials for exact day.

U-10s: Our U-10 team will participate in the District GAA Go Games in Ballymac this Thursday, May 18th. beginning at 7pm.

No Training on Holy Communion Day

U-6s,U-8s,U-10s: There will be no training this coming Saturday 20th May due to the First Holy Communion taking place in Currow. Best wishes to all members on their big day.
