The Kerry Diocesan Youth Service (KDYS) in partnership with An Garda Síochána will run its annual seven-a-side Soccer Blitz on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th of July 2017.

The event will be held in the Soccer Pitch, Limerick Road here in Castleisland. Applications are invited from teams from the Castleisland area interested in taking part and applications must be in by July 3rd.

Three Age Categories

The tournament will take place over the two nights beginning at 6pm. There are three age categories: primary school, 4th, 5th and 6th class and another category for U-15s and U-18s.

The event will be supported once again by local businesses and tournament founder, Sgt. John O’Mahony will be on hand as well as other volunteers to help co-ordinate the event.

Teams to comprise of seven to ten players.

There is a small charge of €2 per player. Applications must be received by Monday, July 3^rd by 5pm.
