‘Mark Saturday, November 25th into your Diary.’ That’s the message coming from the Castleisland fundraising branch of the Kerry Hospice Foundation.
They have just announced the return of the popular Castleisland Hospice Dinner Dance.
Taking a Break
For several years the local group organised a Black & White Ball before taking a break for a while.
“In 2015 a dinner dance was held in conjunction with the Con Houlihan Memorial Weekend and such was the success that, as the saying goes: ‘it’s back by popular demand.’ said branch spokesperson, Liz Galwey.
River Island Hotel
The 2017 dinner dance will be held in the River Island hotel, Flog the Dog will provide the after dinner entertainment and Joe Mac has kindly donated his time to take revelers into the early hours.
Sunflower Day €3,003
The event is expected to be a sell out so it is advisable to contact a committee member to book your tickets in advance.
Members also wish to thanks everyone who donated to the annual Sunflower Day which raised €3,003 locally – all of which goes directly to Kerry Hospice.
