Best wishes to the Desmond’s ladies: Lorraine Scanlon, Eilish Lynch, Aisling Leonard, Labhaoise Walmsley and Andrea Murphy who are playing with the Kerry Ladies team against Dublin in the All Ireland football championship semi-final on this Saturday, August 26th.

The game takes place in Thurles and the throw-in is due at 6:30pm.

Congrats Adam

Congratulations to Adam Donoghue who was part of the victorious Kerry minor team which defeated Cavan to reach the All Ireland minor football final on September 17th. Scartaglin’s Eddie Horan also was involved and Cordal’s Sean O’Connell and Ballymac’s Brian Lonergan were on the additional panel.

No Luck for Juniors

The Desmond’s junior men’s team had no luck when they travelled to play Clounmacon in the junior Co.league final last Friday evening in Duagh.

Losing on the score of 1-11 to 1-5. Well done to players and team management on reaching this year’s final.

Seniors in North Kerry League Final

The senior men’s team play Ballydonoghue in the North Kerry League final on Saturday, September 9th at Listowel Emmet’s pitch. Throw in at 6:45pm. Extra time if requited.

U-12 Boys go Into the West

The boys U-12 team travelled to play An Ghaeltacht in the Co.League last Saturday, where they won on the score of 5-10 to 3-14.

On Friday they host Dingle in the Co. league. Throw in at 7pm.
