Seniors in NK League Final against Ballydonoghue

Castleisland Desmonds senior men’s team play their last county league game on Sunday at home to Dingle. Throw in at 1:30pm.

On Saturday, September 9th they play Ballydonoghue in the North Kerry League Division 1 Final in Listowel. Throw in at 6:45pm with extra time if necessary.

Desmond’s GAA Club Lotto takes place this Saturday in Hartnett’s Bar where the jackpot stands at €3,300. Tickets at €2 or three for €5

No Joy for U-16 Girls or Kerry Seniors

Desmonds U-16 girls had no joy on Sunday as they lost to Austin Stacks in the North Kerry Division 1 League final on the score 2-7 to 3-5.

No luck either for the Desmond’s girls involved with the Kerry senior ladies team that were defeated by Dublin on Saturday in the All Ireland Semi-final.

U-12 Boys Defeat Annascaul/Lispole

Desmonds U-12 boys travelled to Lispole on Monday last and defeated Annascaul/Lispole in the Central Region League. This coming Monday, September 4th they will host Cromane in the same league. Throw in at 7pm.

Bad Run for U-14 Boys

The U-14 boys played two games this week in the Castleisland District League. Unfortunately they lost both games.

On Monday evening they travelled to play John Mitchels in Tralee losing by 5-15 to 5-7 and they were defeated by Ballymac at home on Wednesday evening.

Minor Loss to An Ghaeltacht

Desmond’s Minor boys team played An Ghaeltacht in the Central Region League on Monday evening in a high scoring game they were unfortunately defeated on the score of 3-7 to 5-13.

Final Outing for U-6 and U-8 Girls

The Desmonds U-6 and U-8 girls had their final outing on Monday evening last. Thanks to all of the team mentors for looking after them from when they started in the Community Centre until Monday evening and to all the parents who kindly brought them to training. See ye all in 2018.Contact-banner
