The death has occurred of Denis D.D.Cronin, 12 St. Stephen’s Park, Castleisland, Co. Kerry.

On October 9th 2017, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Kerry University Hospital.

A former Rhyno Mills employee, DD was predeceased by his wife Maureen. Sadly missed by his loving family Noreen, Denis, Noel, Kay and Joe, sons-in-law Damian and Donal, daughter-in-law Stephanie, his adored grandchildren Melissa, Andrew, Rachel, Joe, David, Declan and Kerrie and his two cherished great-grandchildren Jamie and James, brother John, all extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Christening of Great Grandson Jamie

DD (83) was delighted and proud to have had the strength left to attend and enjoy the christening of his great-grandson, Jamie Daniel Halsall less than two weeks ago on Sunday, October 1st.

He was there with Jamie’s parents, Melissa Daly – his grand-daughter and her partner Danny Halsall – and his daughters Noreen and Kay and sons Noel and Joe and their families.

Jamie was christened by Monsignor Dan O’Riordan in the Church of Saints Stephen and John in the company of his grandparents, Kay and Donal Daly and Rose and Tony Halsall and family and friends. The God parents were Rachel Daly and David Halsall. Cousin, Luke King stood in for David Halsall as he is in Australia.

DD was taken suddenly ill in the days after the big event and died at Kerry University Hospital on Monday morning.

May God be good to him.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Tangney’s Funeral Home, Castleisland on this Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm followed by removal to Castleisland Parish Church. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. John’s Cemetery, Castleisland. House Private Please.
