U-14s: Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club grounds was the venue on Sunday for the U-14 Castleisland District League Shield Final between Currow and John Mitchels.

In a very close game John Mitchels lead at half time on a score of 3-4 to 1-9.

In the second half Currow upped their game and gave a brilliant second half performance and just edged out John Mitchels in this encounter.

Final score was Currow 3-20 to John Mitchels 5-10. The Castleisland District Shield was presented to Currow captain Justin McCarthy by Castleisland District Board Chairman Richard Cotter.

This was Currow’s last game of the season and it finished on a high for our team winning their third trophy. The team already won the Feile Pel Na nÓg and Kerry Feile Pel Na nÓg titles during the year.

U-16s to Play Spa, Killarney

U-16s: Currow U-16 team is scheduled to play Spa Killarney next Sunday 22nd October in the Division 4 East Kerry Championship Final. No time/Venue has been announced yet.

Currow defeat Scart U-12s

U-12s: On Sunday the Currow U-12 team made the short journey to Scartaglin to play the home side in the East Kerry League.

In a good sporting game Currow proved to have the upper hand on their opponents and won the game on a score line of 4-6 to 5-14.

Next game for team will be on Sunday, October 22nd. when our team will play host to Kilgarvan/Tousist.

Season Ends for Juvenile Players

U-6,U-8s,U-10s: Saturday morning training has now finished for this year. A big thanks to all our players and coaches for their commitment for the duration of the season and we hope to see you all back again next year.
