Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club will hold a Video Horse Racing Night on the coming Friday, November 10th in the River Island Hotel with the first race off at 7:30pm sharp.

Event support cards will be on general sale out and about over the coming few days.

So, if you want to name a Horse it’s €10, it’s €10 if you want to be the owner of a horse and if you wish to be a jockey it’s also €10. But should you wish to try all three positions it’s only €25.

So we invite you to kindly show your continued support for the club on the night.

There will also be a medal and trophy presentation ceremony to the girls and boys who won competitions during the season.

Lotto Draw Tonight

Desmond’s Lotto Draw takes place on this Saturday night November 4th in Tom McCarthy’s Bar. The Jackpot is up to €3,600. Tickets at €2 or Three for €5.

Congrats to Jessie and Paris

Congratulations to Paris McCarthy and Jessie  Cahill who received their U-14 Munster and All Ireland Silver medals and our senior ladies who were involved with Kerry.

They all received their Munster winners medals last Saturday night at the Kerry Ladies Awards night in the Rose Hotel Tralee.

Sona Bonus for Desmonds Ladies

Congratulations to the Desmond’s Ladies who won €1,000 from Sona Irish Health Supplements on being one of the 26 club winners in an in-store competition that ran throughout August and September. Thanks to all who voted for them.
