Please note the following important message:
For 2018 all underage coaches, helpers and referees of the club will all have to complete the Child Welfare and Protection Course.
This course is on at 7pm sharp in the Heritage Centre in Scartaglen on this Friday, December 1st.
Any new people willing to get involved and also current 2017 coaches will all have to complete this course with Bernie Reen.
A Mandatory Course
It is a Mandatory Course from the GAA headquarters. If you have previously done the course you still have to do it again this time as regulations change from year to year.
This course is for the protection of every child who is registered with the club as well as the protection of everyone who volunteers as a coach with the club.
Coiste AGM in January
A Coiste Na nÓg AGM will be held in early January.
Please confirm your attendance no later than this Wednesday, November 29th to Noreen Rahilly or Seamus Riordan.
It’s a three hour time frame to complete it on the night. Refreshments will be provided.

Scart GAA Club Lotto Worth €10,400
Scartaglen GAA Club Lotto draw was held in Kearneys Bar, Castleisland for a jackpot of €10,200
There was no jackpot winner. Numbers drawn were: 1, 3 , 10 and 21.
Lucky Dip Winners were: €40 to Joan Daly-Curtin, Gortacappal. €30 to both Joan McCarthy, Currans and Patrick Galvin, Knockrour, Scartaglen. €20 each to: Billy O’Connor, Mount, Scartaglen; Catherine Lehanne, Renasup, Gneeveguilla and Tim Coakley, Scartaglen.

The next Scartaglen GAA Club Lotto Draw will be held in O’Connors Bar, Scartaglen on December 10th. The jackpot will be €10,400.
Tickets can be purchased from the following: Dalys Shop and Filling Station, Scartaglen; Buckley’s Shop, Scartaglen; Fleming’s Bar, Scartaglen; Lyons’ Bar, Scartaglen; O’Connor’s Bar, Scartaglen; Jackie Reidy’s Menswear, Castleisland and Tru Care Dry Cleaners, Tralee and Killarney. Tickets are €2 each or three tickets for €5.
