Ireland’s Greatest Voices
Following on from the highly successful concert last year featuring Fr. Liam Lawton, Castleisland Parish will host Ireland’s greatest voices and entertainers The Three Tenors for a special event in the lead-up to Christmas.
The greatly admired and appreciated parish choir will also be taking part in one of its last, big concerts of the year ahead of its live RTÉ TV and Radio One performance in Dublin in February 2018.
Classical and Religious Music
Ireland’s most popular singing trio, Dominic McGorian, Shane Morgan and Derek Moloney will perform classical and religious music and Christmas favourites tonight.
They will also be on their first visit to Castleisland and coming directly from the National Concert Hall.
Most of their concerts in 2017 have been sold out in advance.
Greatly Anticipated Concert
This greatly anticipated concert is packed with the most beautiful spiritual favourites: Panis Angelicus; Ave Maria; The Prayer; I Believe, and My Way – the world’s most popular, uplifting, magical songs from Sinatra and Pavarotti ‘s Nessun Dorma. Christmas Favourites will include: O Holy Night; Silent Night and When a Child is Born.
You’ll also love their new arrangements of hits such as: Over the Rainbow and I Don’t Wanna Talk About It. Their noted friendliness and connection with their audience makes this a unique tenors concert.
Headliners at State Reception
Last year the trio was selected by Irish Government to headline 1916 Centenary State Reception in Dublin Castle, Easter Sunday, March 2016 for 3000 special invited guests from around the world.
Come, see and enjoy this special concert for yourself tonight in Castleisland ! Some tickets will still be available at the door tonight before 8pm.
