Join the Samaritans for Brew Monday – What’s Brew Monday?

We’ve all heard of Blue Monday. It can be one of the most difficult days of the year for a host of reasons.

Anyone can feel overwhelmed this time of year-Christmas is over, many New Years resolutions are already broken,  our bank accounts are empty, the days are dark wet and cold with nothing to look forward to to name a few.

The good people in the Kerry branch of the Samaritans have decided to turn this on its head by calling the 3rd Monday in January Brew Monday.

But they need your help to make this day a little easier for everyone!

The Samaritans are asking you to join others by getting together with friends, family or work colleagues for a free cuppa and a chat and maybe even have a bit of craic.

You’re invited to their free coffee morning in Tralee International Resource Centre, 13-14 St Patrick’s Bungalows, Boherbee, Tralee on the coming Monday, January 15th from 10am to 1pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and have a cuppa and a catch up.

There will also be a donation box on the day to help cover the cost if anyone wishes to acknowledge the work of the Kerry branch of the Samaritans.

The Samaritans free phone number is available to anyone at any time of day or night on 116123 or email jo@samaritans.org
