The first North Kerry Board Coiste-na-nOg Awards night was held on Thursday night, January 11th. in Christy’s – The Well in Listowel.
In association with McElligott’s Oil, Asdee, the guests of honour were three victorious Kerry minors from the board area.
Adam Donoghue, Castleisland Desmonds; Barry O’Mahony, St. Senan’s and Eddie Browne, Listowel Emmets were the award recipients.
Historic Four-in-a-Row
John Ross, vice-chairman, made a presentation to the players on behalf of the North Kerry Board to mark their contribution towards the historic four-in-a-row All-Ireland Minor Football Championship victories.
Adam Barry and Eddie Browne then proceeded to present the man-of-the-match awards to the eight winning recipients as follows:
U-14 North Kerry League Division 1 to Ger Brosnan, Moyvane.
U-14 North Kerry League Division 2 to Ciaran Commane, Finuge.
U-14 North Kerry Championship Division.1 to Darragh Mulvihill, Moyvane.
U-14 North Kerry Championship Division 2 to Robert Stack, Beale.
U-16 North Kerry League Division 1 to Paul Walsh, Knock/Brosna/Duagh.
U-16 North Kerry League Division 2 to Cian McGrath, Ballyduff.
U-16 North Kerry Championship Division 1 to Conor Lane, Knock/Brosna/Duagh.
U-16 North Kerry Championship Division 2 to Denis Quille, St. Senans.
Light refreshments were served and chairman of the North Kerry Board, Johnny Stack thanked everyone for coming and contributing to a very enjoyable evening and wished all clubs the best of luck in 2018.
