At short notice Knocknagoshel GAA Club was asked to host the Kerry V Cork, Ladies National League game.

Great credit goes to everyone from the club who helped to have everything in order for both teams and the large contingent of supporters who filled the terrace and stand at Willie Walsh Park on Sunday afternoon.

On the field the day was with Cork. On a happier note: local Kerry GAA star Lorraine Scanlon top scored for St. Mary’s Basketball and helped her team win the NICC title in Dublin.
