This Saturday night, February 17th Cordal GAA Club will host a night of celebration in Ballygarry House Hotel to mark our achievements during 2017.

Our senior team will be presented with their 2017 County League winning medals.

The club will also celebrate the silverware won by our county players, Sean O’Connell and Philip O’Connor with the successful Kerry U-17s, minors and juniors respectively.

There are just a few tickets left so if you haven’t got yours yet make sure to contact Maurice Costello at 087 62 93 619 or Richard O’Donoghue at 087 22 85 653. The event starts at 7pm and tickets are €30.

Football Coaching Workshop

A football coaching workshop aimed at U-14, U-16 and minor club and school coaches will take place on Wednesday, February 21st at 8pm in Moyderwell Primary School Hall, Boherbee, Tralee. This will be a practical session on games based coaching and conditioned games delivery by Kerry U-16 coaches, James Costello and Pa McCarthy.

The session will demonstrate a series of conditioned games that will focus on improving all aspects of player and team performance.

Cordal’s February Lotto at Fagin’s Bar

The February club Lotto jackpot is a terrific €4,400. We also have five €30 Lucky Dips to give away.

The draw will take place on Sunday, February 25th in Fagin’s Bar, Castleisland.

The club’s ladies are in charge of this month’s Lotto. As always you can get Lotto tickets from our sellers and from Kearney’s Post Office or at Jackie Reidy’s Menswear.

You can also go to www.cordalgaa.com to play the Lotto online. Please keep playing and supporting our club Lotto.

Membership/Registration Due
Cordal GAA Club Membership is due for renewal for 2018. This can be paid to any of our club officers.

Clothes Collection

It’s a new year and the Club continues to collect new/used clothing. We take paired shoes, belts, handbags, curtains, bedlinen. Make sure they are dry, reusable and clean before dropping them to Cordal Community Centre or Jackie Reidy’s Menswear. If you have any queries contact one of the Club Officers. The proceeds help with the running costs of the Club and thanks so much for the great response the Club has already received so far this year.

Cordal v Scart Rescheduled

The Cordal v Scart was called off last week due to a shower of hailstone ten minutes before the match.This game is now fixed for Saturday, February 24th at 4pm in Cordal.

Cordal/Scart play Killarney Legion this Saturday at 4pm in Cordal.
