In Other Club News
In other golf club news: An exciting and new idea, new to Castleisland at least, of night time golf.
Lunar Golf Events is a company which specialises in providing night golf events across the island of Ireland.
The company says that its concept is adaptable to social, fundraising, and corporate events incorporating anything from a one-hole nearest to pin challenge to a full nine-hole competition.
Like Never Before
“It creates a memorable atmosphere throughout the golf course and gives golfers the opportunity to experience the sport in unique and exciting circumstances like never before.”
Apparently, the greens and tee-off areas will be all lit up and the golfers will play with luminous balls and there will be on-course music.
Open to Members and Visitors
Lunar Golf is coming to Castleisland Members’ Golf Club on Friday May 4th 2018. The event is open to members and visitors. Check-in time is at 9pm with a shotgun start at 10pm.
