It’s KDYS/An Garda Síochána Soccer Blitz Time in Castleisland

The Kerry Diocesan Youth Service (KDYS) in partnership with An Garda Síochána is running their annual seven-a-side soccer blitz tournament on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th of June 2018.

The event will be held at the soccer pitch, Limerick Road, Castleisland.

Applications Are Open

Applications are invited from teams from the Castleisland area who are interested in taking part.

The tournament will take place over the two nights mentioned and will begin at 6pm on both nights.

There are three age categories: Primary School (4th, 5th & 6th class), U-15s and U-18s.

Voluntary Effort

The event will be supported once again by local businesses and blitz founder, Sgt. John O’Mahony will be on hand as well as other volunteers to help co-ordinate the event.

Teams will comprise of seven to 10 players. Teams interested are being invited to contact Helena Falvey on 085 7878039 or on 066 71 42648 or call into KDYS office at Lower Main Street, Castleisland for an application form.

There is a small charge of €2 per player. Applications must be received by Friday 22nd of June by 5pm.
