A meeting was held in Cordal Community Centre recently to establish a new community council for the area.
The aim of the council is to help encourage development in Cordal to benefit all the community.
Bringing Work to Fruition
Cordal Community Council will focus on applying for grants so that necessary work that has been proposed and discussed in detail can be brought to fruition.
Members of the community are invited to attend any upcoming meetings with any ideas in the future.
Officers Elected
Upcoming meetings will be announced through the Sliabh Luachra Outlook Magazine; The Maine Valley Post and social media networks.
Officers elected on the night include: Chairperson: Paddy Flynn; Secretary: Pat McElligott; Treasurers: Brid Wrenn and Nora Fealey; PRO: Noreen O’Donoghue.
