Knocknagoshel Harvest Festival

Massive thanks to all who helped out in any way with the running of this year’s Knocknagoshel Harvest Festival.

Great community spirit was in evidence again throughout the week and all events were highly successful and well attended. We thank again the local businesses who gave sponsorship without whom it would not be possible.

September €7,600 Lotto at Walsh’s Bar

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €7,600 and will be held in Walsh’s Bar on Saturday 1st of September. Tickets are available from Kieran’s XL, Leahy’s Post Office, the local bars and usual sellers.

Richard’s U-16s Capture League Title

Knocknagoshel/Brosna/Duagh U-16s captured the Division 3 County League title in some style after an extra time victory over Kerins O’Rahilly’s on a score of 3-20 to 4-13.

Heartiest congratulations to Richard Cotter and his management team and the players involved.

Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection

Knocknagoshel GAA Club is holding an ongoing clothes collection service to help raise funds for the club.

Bags can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field. All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes, handbags, curtains and towels.
