Knocknagoshel Lotto Now Worth €7,700
The lotto draw for a jackpot of €7,600 was held in Walsh’s Bar on Saturday night last. The numbers drawn were: 10, 18, 21 and 30. There was no winner of the jackpot.

The five lucky dips of €30 each were won by: Sheila O’Sullivan Brosna; Jerry Lenihan, Meenganaire; Denis O’Connor, Meenganaire; Robert Galvin, Loughfouder and Harry Ryan, Brosna.

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €7,700 and will be held in The Village Inn on Saturday 6th of October.

Tickets are available from Kieran’s XL, Leahy’s Post Office, the local bars and usual sellers.
Club Fixtures

Knocknagoshel B team lost out to Duagh B in the second round of the Barrett Cup on Tuesday evening of last week. Knocknagoshel seniors next game will be against Castleisland Desmonds in the first round of the North Kerry Senior Championship in October. This game will be played in Knocknagoshel. Saint Kierans defeated Feale Rangers by a single point on a score of 1-14 to 1-13 to move on to round three of the county championship. Meanwhile Saint Kierans minor team qualified for the county final after overcoming Saint Brendan’s by a point in the semi final on Wednesday last. They will play East Kerry in the final with a date and time to be confirmed. Castleisland District Under 16’s reached the final of the county championship plate competition where they will play Feale Rangers. Best wishes to the players and mentors from Knocknagoshel involved with these teams over the next few weeks.
Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection
Knocknagoshel GAA are holding an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club. Bags can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field. All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes,handbags, curtains and towels.
