U-16s Clinch East Kerry Title

Kilcummin was the venue for the East Kerry Championship Division 3 final between Currow and Fossa on Sunday.

Currow lead at half time on a score of Currow 2-9 to Fossa 2-3. In the second half, which could have gone either, way Currow got a last minute goal through full forward Daniel Kelly to earn a hard fought win against a very good Fossa team.

Final score was Currow 5-13 Fossa 7- 5.

The Division 3 cup was presented to Currow captain Adam Jensen by East Kerry secretary Sean O’ Keeffe.

Currow scorers were: Connie O’Connor 3-6; Daniel Kelly 2-5; Adam Jensen and John Curtin 0-1 each.

Well done to the team and their coaches on a great win. Next game will be against Castleisland Desmonds in the Castleisland District B final, a date, time and venue to be confirmed.

U-12s East Kerry League Win

Our u12 team played Beaufort on Sunday 30th September last in Beaufort in the East Kerry League. In a very good sporting game Currow emerged victorious on a scoreline of Beaufort 5-07 to Currow’s 5-13. Next game in the League will take place on Tuesday 9th October at home to Cordal at 5:45pm.

U-10s Competed in Brosna

Well done to our u10 team who competed in the Castleisland District Blitz held in Brosna on Saturday last 29th September.

Training Ends for U-6s,U-8s and U-10s

Saturday morning training has now ended for the year. A big thanks to all our players and coaches for their time and commitment and hopefully we will see ye all back again next season for more fun.

Congrats to Fun Day Organisers

On behalf of Currow Coiste nOg I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate all the Saturday morning trainers and their partners on hosting a fantastic fun day last Sunday.

It was enjoyed by young and old and it brought an end to a very successful year for our U-6s,U-8s and U-10s.
