Castleisland’s Favourite Dub

Castleisland’s favourite Dub is gone to her eternal reward. Herself and close, St. Stephen’s Park, neighbour, the late Kitty Sheehy, a true blue ‘Narrie’ – Strand Road native and supporter had a great flags rivalry down through all the years of Dublin V Kerry games.

Both had their ups and downs but Phyllis held her ground and flew her flag in spite of being the only Dub supporter in the town to do so in recent years. May God be good to them.
