U-14s Last Game of The Season

On Friday 12th October our U-14 team played their last game of the 2018 season against Gneeveguilla in the East Kerry Championship Division 5 final under lights in Spa.

In a good sporting contest which could have gone either way Currow emerged victorious on a scoreline of Currow 5-12 to Gneeveguilla 3-7.

The East Kerry Division 5 trophy was presented to Currow captain Liam O’Sullivan after the final whistle.

Well done to the team and their mentors of Daniel O’Shea, Ian Somers and Jack Griffin on a great win.

U-12s Get the Better of Scart

 Currow U-12 team played Scartaglen in the East Kerry League.

In a great game between two good teams Currow proved to have the upper hand on their opponents and won on a scoreline of Currow 4-9 to Scartaglen 0-9.

This result meant Currow have now won the East Kerry League which caps off a great season for the team after they won the County League and Castleisland District League C Final during the season.

Well done to the team and their coaches of Tim Healy and Pat Brosnan on having a great season.

Sympathies to the McGillicuddy Family

From all In the Currow Coiste Na nOg we extend our sympathies to Killarney Legion GAA Club on the passing of their U-16 player Niall McGillicuddy at such a young age.
