Radio Kerry is Inviting the Women of Kerry to Tea!

Deirdre Walsh will host the ‘TalkAbout Christmas Tea Party’ at Ballygarry House Hotel on November 18th.

The second ‘TalkAbout Christmas Tea Party’ has been announced for Ballygarry House Hotel on Sunday, November 18th 2018 with special guest, TV star Pamela Flood.

Hosted by presenter Deirdre Walsh, the theme for this year’s event is ‘Looking good as you age’ with the focus on women in their middle years and upwards.

Style At All Stages

TV stylist Orla Diffily will give a presentation on how to look stylish at all stages in your life, while popular ‘TalkAbout’ contributor Danny Leane will demonstrate how to get the most out of your wardrobe. Or as he puts it himself, ‘Buy less, wear more’!

Also back this year is Beauty Expert Mary O’Donnell – another Radio Kerry favourite – who recently joined Virgin Media’s ‘Saturday AM’ team; while fragrance expert Blaithin Griffin from CH The Mall Tralee, will be on hand to give advice on choosing perfume.

Blown Away by Reaction

Deirdre Walsh says they were blown away by the reaction to last year’s event.

“We got lots of feedback from last year, and we’ve acted on it. So this year’s Tea Party will be even better, with new features, top-class goody bags and some great prizes to be won.”

Deirdre was keen to bring all the popular features of the ‘TalkAbout’ programme to the live show – including interesting interviews.

Off the Rails

‘We wanted to feature a well-known celebrity, with whom our guests could identify, and Pamela Flood was top of our list. Everyone remembers her from winning Miss Ireland, and co-presenting RTE’s fashion programme ‘Off the Rails’. She’s due back on our screens shortly with a new cookery show, and is juggling the demands of a young family with a busy career. She’s in her late 40s and looks amazing, so she’s the perfect fit for our event.”

On the Sofa at Ballygarry

Pamela will be sharing her secrets to looking good in your 40s and beyond when she joins Deirdre on the sofa at Ballygarry.

Radio Kerry is also delighted to welcome back Torc Travel from Killarney, who are sponsoring the event this year and providing a wonderful door prize of a travel voucher for one lucky ticket holder.

There’s also a fabulous prize for the best dressed lady on the day.

TalkAbout Christmas Tea Party

With music, spot prizes and a delicious Afternoon Tea in the beautiful surroundings of Ballygarry House Hotel, the TalkAbout Christmas Tea Party is the ideal way to get your Christmas started.
