At a recent special general meeting of Castleisland Members’ Golf Club it was decided unanimously to introduce new funding measures that will secure the welfare of the club into the future.

Principle Measures

The principle measures agreed were as follows: The general subscription rate for 2018 to be increased by €100. Thus, all members have agreed to pay the additional fee in subscriptions this year.

The increased subscription rate will apply for 2019 and following years.

New Incentives Introduced

New incentives will be introduced to attract extra members, dual members and distance members.

It is intended that the bunker repair programme will be completed early next year and the sanding and spiking programme for the fairways will commence in April.

Incoming Captains

Incoming club captains, Eamonn Feeley and Bertha O’Sullivan are looking forward to the continued success of the club in 2019 – according to a statement issued by the club.
