Scartaglen GAA Club AGM

Scartaglen GAA Club AGM will be held in the clubhouse on Sunday December 9th at 4pm. All members are invited to attend.

Any nominations should be forwarded through our club Secretary Noreen Rahilly by Sunday December 2nd.

Scartaglen GAA Lotto Jackpot €5,000

Numbers drawn: 3, 16, 26, 28. No Jackpot winner. Lucky Dip Winners: €40 to Sean O’Connor, Knockrour; €30 to Lily O’Connell, c/o Kearney’s Bar, Castleisland; €30 to Johnny Counihan, Scartaglen; €20 each to Mary Rahilly, Knockaacorrin Scartaglen; Marian Considine, Dromulton Scartaglen and to Eugie Cronin, Dromulton, Currow.

The next draw will be at Kearney’s Bar on December1st with a jackpot of €5,200.

U-14 Castleisland District League Final

Cordal/Scartaglen 5-15 Currow 3-6, Well done to the U-10s who won the Castleisland District B Final against Brosna recently.

Thanks also to their coaches during the year: Adrian Murphy, Rory McShane, Brendan Rahilly, Jason O’Connor, Jeremiah Buckley and Joanne Tagney.

The U-12s have also finished their season. Thanks to all the players for their commitment throughout the season and to the coaches: Pa Rahilly, Tom Boyle and Shelia McEnery for giving their expert guidance throughout the season.

The last of the training sessions for U-6s and U-8s was held recently. Thanks to all the coaches for all their hard work, dedication and commitment all year.

They created a fun and happy environment for the children while at the same time teaching all of them new skills and keeping them interested throughout the football season.

Last Man Standing Premier League

Thanks to all 209 people who entered the competition.

Following the completion of Round 1 & Round 2 we are left with 107 people. Round 3 commences on Saturday 24th November. Contestants will be notified on Monday 19th November with fixture details.

Bill Tagney Cup Final

Scartaglen await the winners of Spa -v- Gneeveguilla in the semi final this weekend.

The final is due to take place on the 24th/25th November. Time and venue for the final is yet to be confirmed.
