One of the oldest pieces of marketing wisdom is to take your produce to the middle of the fair or i lár an aonaigh! As Gaeilge.
Brendan Mannix is bringing his auctioneering business and the properties of his clients to the middle of the market town that is Castleisland and to No. 71 Main Street to be precise.
Property on the Books
A member of the well known Ballymacelligott family, Brendan is set to open his doors here and is up and running with a selection of local properties on his books already.
“Having worked in the UK since 1989 in a variety of accounting-related roles – with one of my last jobs as the production accountant for the Graham Norton Show, then broadcast on Channel 4 – I was ready for a change to become the front person of the business,” said Brendan by way of introducing himself.
Goal Set in 2003
“It was to achieve that goal that in 2003, my wife and I moved to Kerry to build on the family businesses founded by my parents in 1947, and to develop Mannix Property Services that I established in 2003.
“We are all too aware of the economic changes that have taken hold in Ireland since 2003 and it is with great regret that we have to call time on Ballymacelligott Post Office and the associated convenience store. But we see this as a great opportunity for Mannix Property Services – we want to bring the very professional service that we deliver to our existing clients to a wider customer base.
The Needs of Clients
“We pride ourselves on offering our clients a personal, highly professional and diligent service in all aspects of estate agency. We support and guide our clients through every stage of the journey to sell, let or buy a property – the needs of our clients are always our top priority.
“Are you thinking of selling or renting a property, or need a valuation? Then please give us a call or visit us at our offices at No.71 Main Street, Castleisland. We are always looking for new properties to list, to give our prospective purchasers choice and variety,” said Brendan.
