Kerry Sinn TD Martin Ferris has welcomed this morning’s job announcement by the IDA in Tralee.

“I wholeheartedly welcome this morning’s jobs announcement by pharmaceutical packaging company Central Pharma who are to bring 100 jobs to the technology park in Tralee over five years,”
said Deputy Ferris this morning after the job announcement at Ballygarry House Hotel
Role of the IDA
“I and other public representatives have been highly critical of the role the IDA has played in Kerry with the massive imbalance between ourselves and Cork.

Injection of Quality Jobs

“This announcement is a badly needed injection of quality jobs which hopefully will see graduates from Kerry being able to stay in the county and spending their wages locally rather than in Cork, Dublin or London.”
“This must just be a start for IDA investment and we should not have to beg for investment anymore,” Deputy Ferris concluded.
